9/27/06 observation

-I saw the end of a session with an adult male. I got to see the pure tone audiometry part of his screening. His hearing was normal and he had no change from the last visit.

-The next patient was an elderly female. She came in for a consultation about her brand new hearing aids. She is a first-time wearer (user?). The clinician gave instructions on how to use and care for the aids and then she programmed them. To program, word recognition was used to see what sounds she could hear for both ears and individual ears. Overall, this visit was very successful.
